A group in Wenatchee known as North Central Washington-Save Our Scouts (NCW-SOS) was advocated for over a year the creation of a new council in North Central Washington, to be based in Wenatchee. This group submitted a proposal to the National Office of the Boy Scouts of America on February 3, 2011. Attached is a press release announcing the proposal was determined not to be a viable option. Also attached is a copy of the letter that was sent to the group on Friday, February 11, 2011.
