The Columbia Basin District covers most of Grant County, including: Quincy, Ephrata, Moses Lake, Coulee City, Soap Lake, Almira, Coulee, Hartline, Ritzville, and the surrounding area.

Roundtable Meeting:  Columbia Basin District Roundtable meetings are generally held on the first Thursday of every month at the LDS Chapel on Grape Drive in Moses Lake.  We welcome all scouters who would like to increase their knowledge and abilities in providing a great program for their youth to join us at these meetings.

District Camps: The District hosts two camps each year including the Winter Camp in January at Camp Scout-A-Vista in Wenatchee and the Spring Rendezvous in April at Camp Israel in Soap Lake.  Check the council calendar and/or the Facebook page listed below for exact dates and additional information.  These are always exciting events that bring the local units together for friendly competition, learning, and fellowship.

The District on Social Media: The District has an active Facebook group where members share their successes, news, and update each other on events and activities.  Simply request membership in the group and you will be accepted.  Go to to reach this group.

Cub Scouting: The District has a strong history of exciting pinewood derbies, day camps, and other Cub Scouting activities. 

Order of the Arrow:  The Neppel Chapter of the Order of the Arrow serves the District and meets at the same place and time as Roundtable meetings most months, especially those months leading up to our District camps as the chapter is an active participant in the planning and execution of our District camps.  The Order of the Arrow Tataliya Lodge also has a Facebook group that can be found by clicking on

Venturing: The council Venturing Officer's Assocation provides assistance and program support as well as plans activities to bring Venturing crews from around the council together.  Plug into the activities of the council VOA by joining their Facebook group at

Volunteering in the District: The District is only a strong as those who volunteer their time to make things happen.  We encourage anyone who has a willing heart to volunteer to assist the District in providing for the needs of the youth within the District.  Thank you for your support!

District Committee Meeting:  District committee meetings are generally held at the conclusion of the monthly Roundtable Meeting.  District committee members are all encouraged to participate in this meeting to properly coordinate activities and events within the district.
