Since its beginning, the Cub Scout program has been a fun and educational experience concerned with values. Besides providing a positive place where boys can enjoy safe, wholesome activities, Cub Scouting focuses on building character, cubsimproving physical fitness, teaching practical skills, and developing a spirit of community service.

Calling all Cub Scouts and Webelos!  Don't miss a couple of great outdoor events this year for enjoying the outdoors.  Fun with Son at Scout-A-Vista and the Webelos Experience at Camp Fife are two great weekends of outdoor fun!

Fun with Son at Scout-A-Vista is May 16-17th.  Fun with Son will be a great time for all Cub Scouts and Webelos to catch a lunker out of Lake Opaque, shoot BB guns, practice your archery, and camping.  Check out this page for more information and get registered with your son today!

Webelos Experience is at Camp Fife July 17th, 18th, & 19th.  This weekend is specifically aimed at Webelos.  Webelos gain in experience, knowledge, and self-reliance with the help of their Webelos Leader or parent and a trained camp prgoram staff.  It's an excellent growth opportunity as boys make the transition from Cub Scouts to the long-term camping experience in their future years as Boy Scouts.  See the Flyer, Parents'/Leaders' guide, and Activity Class sign up sheet for all the details!

These events are great ways to motivate your pack for the summer.  Here's a summer challenge for you cub leaders.  Can you earn the Summertime Pack Award?  You only need to plan and conduct an event in each month of June, July, and August.  One of the best parts is that day camps count!  Then, turn in the award form application to receive a Pack Certificate and Streamer.  Good luck and have fun!

Ever wondered what you had to do to achieve your rank advancement?  Well, it's a good thing we found each other!  Here is Cub Scout Program transition information.
